Quooker boiling water taps are the perfect purchase for every home. Gone are the days of waiting around for your kettle to boil or waiting for your pasta water to start bubbling away. Not only does this tap provide boiling water but it also offers filtered- and cold -water with the power to mix hot and cold to create your desired temperature.
While this may seem dangerous, it’s perfectly safe! It’s actually safer than a regular kettle. This is because each aspect of the tap is highly insulated so little heat will be lost which, of course, makes it more efficient. Featuring a childproof handle, children won’t be able to operate the tap and get boiling water themselves. To let you know the tap is on boiling water mode, the lamp lights up and the flow of water is delivered as an aerated spray rather than a solid jet. This prevents the risk of serious scalds or burns. Better yet? A Quooker tap can’t fall over or spill like a kettle can.

How Does It Work?
This model consists of a small tank that will sit inside your kitchen cupboard – this is linked to the boiling water tap. The tank acts like a vacuum flask connected to the water mains. Kitted out with insulated walls, heat will be unable to escape, meaning it requires very little energy to keep the water in the tank at 110°C.
You’ll never run out of water as when the tap is in use, freshwater immediately flows into the tank.
This tap is fitted with a PRO3 tank which provides three litres of instant boiling water. It takes around 10 minutes to heat up and has a standby power consumption of 10W.
